UPS Foundation Offers Critical Support for Hurricane Fiona Relief
With more than 7,000 centers of operation across the country, The Salvation Army has been able to provide a variety of emergency services to survivors and first responders in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Fiona’s devastation.
The UPS Foundation has joined the relief efforts, partnering to facilitate shipments of much-needed supplies to support those impacted by the hurricane.
On September 21st, UPS delivered 36 pallets of humanitarian supplies to the island where so many homes, roads, and communities have been devastated. So far, The Salvation Army has distributed more than 5,000 meals, 450 hygiene kits, and nearly 200 clean-up kits to those affected in Puerto Rico.
The Salvation Army’s longstanding partnership with UPS is a critical part of disaster relief efforts. We are grateful to UPS for helping us meet the need and love beyond natural disasters.
