The Salvation Army Continues to Provide Humanitarian Aid as Ukraine Conflict Continues
As people in Ukraine and surrounding countries continue to navigate the devastation of the February 24th, 2022 Russian invasion and ongoing conflict, The Salvation Army remains committed to providing aid and support to affected individuals and families. Today, two years after the initial invasion, The Salvation Army reflects on the significant impact made on the lives of countless individuals and communities and prepares to serve as long as there is a need.
Since the onset of the crisis, The Salvation Army World Service Office has been steadfast in representing the interests of The Salvation Army U.S.A. and has mobilized its global response network to help the millions of people in need.
Since February 24, 2022, The Salvation Army has provided food, water, and other supplies to particularly vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with disabilities, women, and children.
